Please be advised that one or more persons are using the Hunt Oil Company name to conduct a scam, which appears to be based in the United Kingdom. The details of this scam, as we understand it, are below.

Persons are replying to job offers posted on websites other than the official site of HUNT OIL COMPANY, or are being contacted by someone claiming to represent Hunt Oil Company in response to information they have posted on a recruitment or networking website. After submitting written answers to interview questions, these persons are informed that their application has been successful and that they should send their passport and fees to a specified address. We are cooperating with the Surrey police in the United Kingdom in their investigation of this scam.

Please be advised that:
  1. No valid offer of employment from Hunt Oil Company or any of its affiliated companies will include a request for fees or a request that the successful applicant send his or her passport to Hunt Oil Company.
  2. These persons have no connection to Hunt Oil Company or any of its affiliates.
  3. All valid employment offers from Hunt Oil Company will be received directly from the Hunt Oil Company Human Resources Department.
  4. No other party has authority to extend offers of employment for Hunt Oil Company or any of its affiliated companies.
  5. No employment offer received from any other source is valid.
