Bill is Senior Vice President of International Exploration and New Ventures for Hunt Oil. He has more than 40 years of worldwide experience and has held numerous technical and leadership positions in a variety of oil & gas operations.

After graduating from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering, Bill began his career with Mobil Oil in various production & reservoir engineering roles. He then joined ARCO International where he led a technical team in acquisitions and divestitures in the Norwegian North Sea, supported exploration activities in Brazil, and completed field rehabilitation efforts in Venezuela and Ecuador

Following the acquisition of ARCO by BP, Bill was involved in the early stages of the Bakken play in North Dakota with a small independent company. He later joined Triton/Amerada Hess where his responsibilities included technical oversight for the company's interests in Colombia and offshore Malaysia and Thailand, as well as the early engineering assessment and development planning for discoveries off the coast of West Africa.

Since joining Hunt Oil Company in 2003, Bill has held numerous roles supporting the Company's exploration efforts across five continents around the world, most recently in North Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.

In his current role, Bill leads the International New Ventures effort targeting long-term company growth through the acquisition of high-quality producing assets.

Bill is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and is past President of the Petroleum Engineers Club of Dallas.
